WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Assessment and treatment usually lasts 1 hour to 1,5 hours. 

  • Assessment of the animal at walk and trot and if required on the lunge or ridden (Horses)

  • Examination for spinal pain, stiffness and alignment

  • Assessment of joint range, looking for stiffness, restriction, or pain

Home exercise programs and advice

Advice on how best to exercise your animal to avoid exacerbating an injury or how frequently to walk your dog following surgery or injury or due to age so that they can manage with arthritis or return to their pre-injury level of work or exercise.

In most circumstances each dog/ cat is given a home exercise programme for you to do at home. This will allow you to be involved in your animal’s rehabilitation and give confidence when handling them for example after spinal surgery or exercising them after cruciate repair therefore achieving the best outcome.

Advice on the type of exercises you can do with your horse to encourage better posture and enhancing performance outcomes as well as advice to manage acute and chronic conditions.
